Gary Andrew Reeves

He entered into life on October 4, 1938 in Palestine, Texas, to Edward Quentin Reeves and Marie Crutcher. Gary was raised in Lubbock, Texas and graduated from Lubbock High School in 1956. He served in the United States Air Force.

He married Ruth Cady in 1983 and the couple had 3 children. Gary worked as a carpenter for more than fifty years in Dallas, Texas.

In his spare time Gary enjoyed playing golf, remodeling, RVing, caring for horses and animals, being around his grandchildren, working in the yard, listening to music, singing and playing the guitar.

His family and friends will always remember him as a very talented carpenter. He had a talent for music and singing, and that he was a kind, generous person who never met a stranger.

He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and one sister.

Gary is survived by his loving wife, Ruth; his son, Timothy Reeves (wife Kelly); stepsons, Roger Kanaman (wife Lori) and Bob Mullins (wife Tracy); granddaughters, Macey Ruth Kanaman, Elizabeth Reeves, Kate-Lynn Boker, Jackie Mullins, Brigette Mullins, and Katie Mullins; grandson, Aaron Reeves; multiple great-grandchildren; brother, Randy Reeves (wife Shirley); multiple nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
