Ella Annie Cox

Ella Annie Kovar was born on December 21, 1934, in LoneStar, Kaufman County, Texas to Robert and Ella Kovar.

Ella married Burl Cox June 5th, 1954 and the couple had 5 children, 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

Ella lived a life full of love, laughter, and resilience, and she touched the lives of all who knew her. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and granny and was always there when we needed her the most, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance.

She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Ella Kovar, her husband Burl Cox, and her 2 brothers Bob and Ray Kovar.

And leaves behind her 5 sons, Michael and wife Denise, Wayne and wife Cindy, Danny and wife Carol, and Brian and wife Dina, Brad and wife Shanda; Grandchildren, Angela Jackson (Danny), Michelle Montoya (Ricky), Bo Cox, (Tonya), Cameron Cox, Brandon Cox, Christi James (Kenny), Tonya Stanley (Tommy), Brycen Cox, Corey Cox, and Kaitlin Cox; Great-Grandkids, Hailey Cote, Logan Montoya, Skylar Jackson, Colten Cox, Chloe Montoya, Samantha Montoya, Chase Montoya, Cutter Cox, Jacob Cox, and Lane Stanley; Great-Great-Grandchildren, Hunter Cox, and Whitley Cox; 2 sisters, Mary Zabojnik and Virginia Svehlak; and numerous nephews and nieces.

To commemorate her incredible journey and to celebrate the love she spread, we invite all that knew her to join us in remembering a truly remarkable woman.

A visitation will be held Monday, June 24, 2024 from 5pm-8pm, and a Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at 10:00 am at Roselawn Funeral Home in Seagoville, TX.
