She loved being a wife, mama and nanny. She brought laughter to everyone she met. She enjoyed refinishing and upholstering antiques, going to auctions, drawing and riding around with her husband Johnny and dog Tigger. But most of all she loved her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lena & Paul Gray; sisters, Elese Bankston and Lillian Boyd; and brothers, Jack Gray, Fred Gray, JT Gray, Eugene Gray, Paul Jr. Gray, and Allen Gray.
Edna is survived by her husband of 47 years, Johnny Lane; children, Shane Chamberlain (wife Amy), Ronnie Chamberlain (wife Winnie), Donnie Chamberlain (partner Kevin Baker), Paula Cole (husband Lyndon), and Becky Lane; grandchildren, Kasey Garcia (husband Alex), Morgan Trussell (husband Clay), Sherry Theriot (husband Matt); Ashley Seabolt (husband Ben); 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Ward (husband Marion) and Roma Smith (husband Dale); and numerous nieces and nephews.
She will be deeply, dearly missed by all who knew her.
A visitation for Sandy will be held Tuesday, December 19, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home, 1000 S Highway 175, Seagoville, TX 75159. Following the visitation will be a graveside service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 1000 S Hwy 175, Seagoville, TX 75159.
