Edith was born May 19, 1938 in Kaufman County, Texas to Iva Mae Smith and Elmer Pritchett. She married Clyde Farmer on April 13, 1956 and the couple had two children, Bobby and Timothy Farmer. Her hobbies included gardening, taking care of the chickens, and doing yardwork.
Edith is preceded in death by her parents, Iva Mae and Elmer Pritchett; her two sons, Bobby and Timothy Farmer; and her siblings, Margie Pritchett (Joseph Steele), Eva Marie Pritchett (Louis Baker), James Pritchett, Robert Louis Pritchett (Anna Faye Daily), Ella Louise Pritchett (James Gilmore), Evelyn Pritchett (Wendell Langley), Tom Roy, Leslie Clyde Pritchett, Lester Pritchett (Sandra Dollison).
Edith is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Clyde Farmer; her sister, Model Pritchett (Edward Ewing); her daughter-in-law Cynthia Farmer; and her grandchildren, Tiffany Farmer (Kimberly Norwood), Lezlie Kirby, and Lane Kirby.
