Mr. Donald Eugene Miller

Don E. Miller of Rockwall, Texas went home to the Lord on July 15, 2015. He was born in Connellsville, Pennsylvania on May 2, 1947. He is preceded in death by his parents Harold Leroy Miller Jr. and Eliza Jane Beal Miller, brother James Miller and sister Dorothy Miller. Left with fond memories to cherish is his loving wife of 49 years, Annette Miller; daughter Tammy Alvarez & husband Alfred; daughter Christina Miller; grandson Lucas Alvarez; granddaughter Nikki Alvarez; brother Harold “Bud” Miller & wife Joann; sister Janie Chess; sister Rose Burraughs; sister Sally Griffith; sister Kate Boldrey & husband Jack; sister Judy Lowary & husband Jessie and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and other family love ones and beloved friends. Don faithfully served his country in the United States Air force. Don was a very kind hearted man who always put others before himself and helped others however he could, whenever he could. While Don was very sick himself, in the hospital he felt the need to help sick children in the same hospital. He enjoyed looking at houses decorated at Christmas. He also enjoyed collecting comic books and books about the old west. Don enjoyed having fun, laughing, family gatherings and playing cards. He was loved very much and will be greatly missed. A graveside memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
