He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and Minister of the Gospel to all who knew and loved him.
He was born on December 28, 1954, in Pocahontas, Arkansas to parents John Charles Adams and Bessie Bernice Adams.
David was very active as a young man. He had a Tennessee Walker horse named “Ribbon” that he loved to ride bareback. He liked Taekwondo, and even had an opportunity to spar with Chuck Norris (before he was famous) but didn’t get to. He was the oldest in his family and often kept a close eye on his younger brothers and sisters.
He became an 18-wheeler truck driver, obtained a student pilot’s license, jumped on a trampoline with his kids, and rode fast roller coasters and zip-lines. With his kids, he went river rafting, sky diving, and scuba diving. He worked in IT as a Systems Administrator for 39 years. He loved his children and grandchildren. This November he would have been married to his wife Mary Adams for 46 years.
David and his wife Mary went to Bible School in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. In his later years, he fully committed his life, time, and efforts in service to our Lord Jesus Christ. He was always grateful and thankful to our Heavenly Father for the opportunity to be a part of the work of God at Living Word Fellowship in Laredo, Texas. David was honored to minister the Word of God which is the Word of Faith that he preached.
