Dale Lee Hairgrove

Dale Lee Hairgrove, of Seagoville, Texas, passed away on February 28, 2022 in Seagoville, Texas. He will always be remembered as a loving father, son, brother and friend to all that knew and loved him. He was born on September 5, 1954 in Houston, Texas to Roland and Joanne Hairgrove.

Dale graduated from Hereford High School, in Hereford, Texas in 1973. He attended Texas Tech University. He retired from Texas Instruments in 2009.

He was an Eagle Scout and life-long supporter of the Boy Scouts of America. He was a recipient of the Silver Beaver Award for distinguished service, which is one of the highest honors bestowed by a BSA council. He was a member of First United Methodist Church choir and enjoyed singing, and was often asked to perform at events and functions. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge of Seagoville.

Dale is survived by his son, Jesse of Dallas; mother Joanne Hairgrove of Sweetwater, Texas; sister Cindy Replogle and her husband Stan of Austin, Texas; brother Dee Hairgrove and his wife Jill of Andover, Kansas; nephew Andrew Hairgrove of Oklahoma; niece Megan Hashbarger and her husband Scott of Wichita, Kansas.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roland Hairgrove of Sweetwater, Texas; grandparents Dee and Ethel Hairgrove of Spur, Texas; and Um and Eula Akens of Sweetwater, Texas.

Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on March 8, 2022 at the Seagoville First United Methodist Church. Services to follow at 2:00 pm. Masonic burial rites at gravesite are scheduled at 3:00 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 1000 South Highway 175, Seagoville, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Seagoville United Methodist Church at 101 South Kaufman, Seagoville, Texas.
