

Connie Lindsey Jennings went to be with the Lord on August 23, 2015. She was born in Thornton, Texas on November 24, 1944 to Q.T. and Eunice Jeneal (Winn) Lindsey. Connie was met in Heaven by her parents, her loving husband Robert Jennings, her brother Robert Lindsey and her sister-in-law Janet Jennings. Left with cherished memories is daughter Tina Young & husband Tim of Combine, Texas; daughter Sherri Barnes & husband Paul of McKinney, Texas; granddaughter Taylor Young of Combine, Texas; grandson Jonathan Barnes of McKinney, Texas; grandson Joshua Barnes & wife Kimberly of Denton, Texas; granddaughter Sydnee Taylor; aunt Edna Carlisle of Waco, Texas; her four legged children Honey and Cooper and many, many other family loved ones and beloved friends. Connie was a Godly woman. Her faith in Jesus Christ never faltered. She was a “Prayer Warrior” and a longtime member of Point View Baptist Church in Combine, Texas. She was a very selfless and giving person. She always put others first. She welcomed everyone, she never met a stranger. Connie was a great listener. It was typical for Connie to become the “rock” for anyone who may have needed her comfort. Connie knew how to have fun. She was always the life of the party. She enjoyed a good practical joke and a loved to laugh. The family will receive guests at a visitation from 4pm to 8pm Wednesday August 26, 2015 at Roselawn Funeral Home Seagoville, Texas. A celebration of Connie’s life will be 1:00pm. Thursday August 27, 2015 at Point View Baptist Church, 1110 FM 3039 Combine, Texas. Following the service, a procession to Grove Hill Cemetery will take place where Connie will be laid to rest beside her husband Robert in Resthaven Garden. Brother Mike Allcorn and Brother Steve Rhodes will officiate.
