Charlotte Jean Embry

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mary Cadenhead; her loving husband of 36 years, Herman "Red" Embry, and all of her siblings, including 2 sisters who passed in childhood, sisters Beth Henderson, Sylvia Self, Joy Wilson, and brothers Bert Cadenhead, Ernie Cadenhead, and Oscar Cadenhead.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Lori Withrow and Vicki Purvis; granddaughter Kelli Withrow, grandson BJ Withrow, grandson Brenton Purvis, and granddaughter Krystal Bailey; great-grandchildren Cameron Withrow, Noah Withrow, Dayton McClure, Grace Bailey, Trinity Bailey, Liam Gray, and many other family members and friends.

Charlotte was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a hard-working member of the MISD Nutrition program and outside of her time working, she loved reading and spending time with her family. Charlotte was also a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Meadowview where she led a ministry of caretaking for those church members who were ill. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

A visitation for Charlotte will be held Tuesday, August 22, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Roselawn Funeral Home, 1000 S Highway 175, Seagoville, TX 75159. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, August 22, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 1000 S Highway 175, Seagoville, TX 75159. A committal service will occur Tuesday, August 22, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 1000 S Highway 175, Seagoville, TX 75159.
