Charles David Grubbs

David Grubbs (60) of Crandall went to be with the Lord September 16, 2016 in Kaufman, Texas. He was born September 1, 1956 in Kaufman to Robert and Dorothy (Duke) Grubbs. He graduated from Crandall High School in 1974. He married the love of his life Tina Woody on June 1, 1985. David loved his family, his home and still lived on “Grubbs Hill” in Crandall. He enjoyed taking care of others and making people laugh. David especially loved his dogs, racing with his son Cody and enjoyed coaching softball with Emily. David was a dedicated worker and served as a Warehouse Operations Manager for numerous years. David was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Dorothy Grubbs, two brothers, Bobby and Jerry, sister, Jerra Diane, and aunt Bess. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 31 years Tina Grubbs; son, Cody Grubbs & wife Tiffany; daughter, Emily Grubbs; step-son Brandon Woody; three grandchildren, Dakota, Praylee, Cayden “PawPaw’s Golden Boy”, and a granddaughter who will make her appearance in February 2017; two nieces, Debra Wood and Julie Johnson; great-nieces & nephews, Lauren & Ashton Wood and Matthew & Nathan Johnson; sister-in-law Sandra Grubbs; and a host of extended family and friends.
