Cassandra is preceded in death by her parents, sister Aurelia Ann Curry, daughter Jodean Hughey and grandson Curtis Hopkins.
Cassandra is survived by her three children; Robert Shane Hughey and wife Diann, Deborah Vaden and Richard Hughey, two brothers; James Lawson and wife Sue, Talmage Lawson and wife Mary, grandchildren; Tara and husband Jason, Jeremey and wife Katie, Shasta, Joseph and wife Jessica and Makayla, nine great grandchildren and a host of other beloved family and friends who will dearly miss her.
Cassandra, in her early years loved to bowl, play baseball with the family and loved to dance, especially to Only You by the Platters. Cassandra also cherished spending time with her family.
A memorial service for Cassandra will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Roselawn Funeral Home, Seagoville, TX.
