Bruce McLaughlin

Bruce was born on November 15,1953 to Alexander Owen McLaughlin and Alberta Mae Kines in Dallas Texas. He worked as a mechanic maintaining emergency equipment for the city of Mesquite for 28 years where he later retired. One of Bruce's fondest childhood memories is riding bikes and playing in the creek with his brothers. Among many hobbies, he loved anything race cars and restoring classic cars. He received many awards for restoring classic cars.

Bruce had a deep passion for race cars but he cherished nothing more than spending time with his family, especially at the lake.

Those left to cherish his memory include, his lovely wife of 47 years Janice Aileen McLaughlin, children, Mendy Dickeson husband Jerry Dickeson Jr., Amber Nolan husband Jeff Nolan and Steven Hammon. Brothers Dennis McLaughlin, Russell McLaughlin, sisters, Patricia Martin, Phyllis Davis, and Janet Ingle. Grandchildren, Jerry Dickeson III, Randi Dickeson, Cameron Diamond, Cory Nolan and Nathan Nolan.

Bruce will be missed deeply by many family members, friends and so many friends that he considered family.
