Audrey grew up in the Gays Mills area, and SW corner of Wisconsin, before moving to Mesa, Arizona with her family, and lived there until about 17 years ago when she moved to Kaufman to be closer to her sister Betty. She worked at the Mesa Tribune for many years as a paste up artist, which was the art of creating or laying out publications in a method that predates the use of the now standard computerized pages. Audrey, or affectionately known as "Audie" loved to draw and paint and was very interested in genealogy. She was also an avid reader and was very faithful to her Lord and Savior and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Crandall. Preceding her in death are her parents Maurice and Elizabeth Bailey; siblings: Virginia Garrison, Barbara Koch, Maurice Bailey, Jr. and Burton Bailey, Sr. Those left to cherish her memory are her sister Betty Payne and husband, Burnice; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and extended family and friends that will miss her dearly.
