Victor De La Cruz

Victor was born to Victorano and Maria Nieves Martinez De La Cruz in San Benito, Texas, on April 13, 1930. Step Father Augustin Rangel. Siblings, Raul De La Cruz, Ella De La Cruz. Surviving Iris (Gilbert) Pena. Half Siblings, Reymunco (Juanita) Rangel, Ramon (Maria) Rangel, Ascension Rangel, Carmen Rangel, Juanita Rangel, Petra Rangel, Surviving Alicia Rangel Abad.

Victor's first wife Lilia Varela De La Cruz had 4 children, Yolanda (Reynaldo) Garcia, Surviving Victor (Maria) De La Cruz, Jr., Blanca (Daniel) Figueroa, Teresita (Antonio) Rodriguez, 7 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandson.

Victor's second wife of 34 years, Oralia Pequeno De La Cruz preceded him in death in 2021. Preceding in death Stepsons Arnold and Joerene Pequeno, 1983. Surviving Joseph (DeAnne Giago) Pequeno, 2 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.

Victor moved to Houston, Texas, and worked for Houston Independent School District as a Heating and Air Technician. Victor and Oralia met at HISD, fell in love and married in 1987. Victor was a 6th degree blackbelt in Karate and opened his own school (Texas Karate Institute). Victor and Oralia built a horse ranch together training, breeding and showing Arabian horses. Victor also went to school in Oklahoma to become a Ferrier. in 2013 Victor and Oralia moved to Tempe, Arizona to be closer to Son and Daughter-in-law, Joseph and DeAnne.
