Suzanne Ashcraft

Born April 6, 1943 in Richfield, UT, Suzanne moved to Arizona at age 16. She graduated from Arcadia High School in 1961 and went to nursing school. Suzanne married Randall Neal Ashcraft on September 25, 1964. She was a devoted mother of three daughters and a fun loving Grandmother. She provided childcare in her home for many children over a twenty year period.

Suzanne had a quick wit and loved to laugh. She made birthdays, holidays and vacations very special. She enjoyed crafts, played piano and collected antiques. She was an active member of The Church of Latter-Day Saints, serving in many capacities, although her favorite was working with children in primary.

She is predeceased by her husband Randy, her father Evan Peterson and her sister Yvonne Perron. Her surviving family members include her daughters Lisa Parker of Dalian, China, Lori Nebeker of Gilbert, AZ and Linda Mason of Gilbert, South Carolina, her mother Yolande Peterson, her brother Larry Peterson and eleven grandchildren. Suzanne's family is grateful to the staff and residents of House of Comfort for being her friend and making her passing comfortable.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 6001 S. Lakeshore Dr. Tempe, AZ 85283. The viewing will be from 10-11:15 a.m. and funeral services at 11:30 a.m. The dedication of the grave will be at 1:30 p.m. at Green Acres Mortuary and Cemetery, 401 N. Hayden Rd., Scottsdale, AZ 85257.
