She was born in Des Moines, Iowa in 1943.
Susan was married to John Biro for many loving years.
She had a career teaching children with learning disabilities, and even once starred in a television commercial for Final Touch fabric softener.
She enjoyed reading, shopping, dogs, eating whipped cream, and I Love Lucy.
Her favorite color was blue, and her favorite songs were by Elvis Presley and Barry Manilow.
Susan always put God first, and others second. She embodied the phrase, “Christ-like.”
She was loving, kind, and warm, with a sense of humor and a deep love for family.
Susan was most proud of her grandchildren, and making those she cared about feel valued and loved.
Susan was preceded in death by her brother, Bud Pierson.
She is survived by her husband, John; her children, Vicki Biro, and Patti Youngs (Brian Youngs); her grandchildren, Jake and Jenna Youngs; her step-brother, Greg Sorensen; as well as her niece and nephews, Susan Browne, Terry and Gary Pierson, and Andy and Jack Sorensen.
