Stan was born to Patricia and Larry Bell in Blytheville, Arkansas on May 3, 1953.
He graduated from Saguaro High School in 1971, and enjoyed a 40 year career in real estate before retiring with Bank of America.
He was a strong, sensitive, and stubborn man, with a quick-witted sense of humor.
Stan was blessed when given a second chance at life on March 21, 2017 after a successful double lung transplant. He was grateful beyond words for the entire team at St. Joseph's - Norton Thoracic Institute and his donor family.
After his transplant, Stan was always busy living life to the fullest; RV trips, vacations, desert and mountain adventures in his UTV, and so much more.
He fought to the end because he loved his life so much.
Stan was preceded in death by his siblings, Dan, Marla, and Kelly.
Stan is survived by his parents, Patricia and Larry Bell; his devoted partner of 19 years, Tammy Gunter; his stepbrother, Austin Bell; his aunt, Hazel Shrull; his nephews, Steven Maroe, Michael Connor (Juliana), Marcus Connor (Amber), and Robert Brook; as well as his many cousins, Jeanne and John Dickens, Juna and Henry Penney, Michelle and Mark Williams, Robin and David Hart, and Nanette Stiles.
A celebration of life service will be held for Stan on Saturday, July 22 at 2:00 PM at Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetery, 401 N Hayden Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85257, with a catered reception to follow.
