Sadie Renick White

Sadie I. (Renick) White went to be with the Lord at age 95 on April 29, 2018. She was born on June 2, 1922 in Hot Springs, New Mexico and was the daughter of Jennie (Reeves) and Seddie Lee Renick. Sadie worked for the U.S. Engineers War Dept., Army Air Force at Kirtland Field, Dept. of the Army, Veterans Administration and the Dept. of Interior Geological Survey. In 1982, she retired from the Bureau of Reclamation, Lands Division. Sadie loved spending time with her family, fishing, cake decorating, making flower arrangements and rooting for the Dallas Cowboys. Her greatest joy was serving in the children's ministry and playing the piano at her church. She was also a passionate prayer warrior. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Lee, Herbert (Hub) and Walter Renick, and her sisters, Myrtle Conyers and Mable Nance. She is survived by her daughters, Melody Foster Guthridge and Sharyn Lea Culp, four grandsons and one great-grandson. Sadie was greatly loved and will be missed by all who knew her. A Visitation on Monday, May 7, 2017 at 1 pm followed by a Funeral Service at 2pm will be held at Green Acres Chapel (401 N. Hayden Rd. Scottsdale, AZ).
