With his fire-red hair and quick-witted personality, Robert was always there with hilarious anecdotes and entertaining quips. Growing up, Robert was very passionate about baseball and dreamed of going pro. With Robert's sense of adventure, he was lucky to have had a career that spanned two decades in the trucking industry, visiting all but two of the 50 United States.
Throughout his life, he loved sharing his passion of film, music and comedy with others and enjoyed learning about and sharing his knowledge of stock market investments. He could light up a room when he played his guitar and sang. Robert’s signature catchphrases and melodic performances will undoubtedly live on in his loved one’s memories for the rest of their days.
Although he was known for being a jovial and magnetic character, Robert was also known for his old-soul wisdom and incredibly soft heart. Robert was passionate about helping others and dedicated his life to lifting others up no matter where they were in life. He always told everyone how much he loved them and for that, we are thankful. His nurturing heart was also very much reflected in his great love for animals. Whether beaked or four-legged, Robert never met an animal that didn’t become his immediate best friend.
Robert was preceded in death by his dear mother Sue Bryant and grandparents Edward and Deljuan Bryant. He is survived by his children, Liam and Ellis, his sisters Kim Stone, Kelly Ursini and Karie Haywood (Jay), his stepfather Doug, his nieces and nephews Kristen, Michael, Charlie, Katie, Karli, Allison, Justin and Alex, great-nieces and nephews Rachel, Andelyn, Madison, Jaxon, Amelia, Theo and Brynlee Sue. His four-legged besties, Fran and Betty (Sketti). Robert also had countless friends, many who regarded him as family.
The world lost a kind, loving, selfless, and gentle human when Robert departed and his legacy will live on through his incredible impact on his loved ones. Please honor Robert by sharing kindness and love in the world just as he did each day.
A visitation for Robert will be held Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Green Acres Mortuary and Cemetery, 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale, Arizona 85257, followed by his funeral service at 1:00 PM.
