I knew Richard through our church. My fondest memory is from about 15 years ago, when our church produced the musical version of "It's a Wonderful Life" two Christmas seasons in a row. I played in the orchestra and Richard was a lead angel. When he and another leading angel were discussing sending angel Clarence on an important task, one of Richard's lines was "He has the Faith of a 'chall'" ("He has the faith of a child" in a strong Texas accent). Ever since that play, my wife and I use the term "He has the faith of a chall" when speaking of certain people. It always brings back fond memories.

We will miss you Richard.
