Peter Vern Betz (43) of Mesa, AZ entered peacefully into his heavenly eternal home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, September 9, 2018 after a 2 year battle with esophageal cancer. Peter was preceded in death by his two daughters, Hannah Rose and Abigail Grace, as well as his 3 boys James, Matthew and Baby, as well as his mother in law Dottie Smith. Peter is survived by his wife, Stacey Betz, whom he married on February 7, 2004 and his 11 year old son, Jacob, as well as his older brother Tim Betz, sister-in-law Paula Betz and their two children Caleb and Joshua, and Peter’s parents Russell and Kay Betz, plus the many special aunts and uncles and cousins that have been a part of his life.
Visitation services will be held at Green Acres Mortuary on Thursday, September 13 from 6-8 pm. A graveside service will be held at Green Acres at 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale AZ on Friday, September 14 at 9 am. A Celebration of Life service will also be held on Friday later at 7:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Tempe, 4525 S McClintock Drive, Tempe AZ 85202. The family welcomes friends and family to attend all of these services.
