Mozelle Monson Mitchell

Mozelle was the daughter of Edward Monson and Sarah Yeates. Mozelle worked for the Federal Government most of her adult life in a number of capacities. Mozelle and her husband (Gordon Stutesman), while in the military service, lived in Germany where twin sons were born. They also lived in many different cities in the United States. In Mozelle’s retirement years, she became an expert in searching for her ancestors who came from various parts of the world. Mozelle was preceded in death by a daughter, Marlene Stutesman, her husband Basil B. Mitchell, a son Craig Gordon Mitchell, and a brother Edward Gary Monson. Survivors include: two sons Gary Merle Mitchell (Chong) and Douglas Yeates Hancock (Carolyn) (OR), daughter-in-law He-Young Mitchell, three granddaughters, Jenifer and Jessica Mitchell and Ashley Hancock (OR), two grandsons Michael and Jonathan Mitchell, plus two sisters Joan Monson Murray (OK) and Gayle Monson Hancock (UT). Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Visitation will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday followed by Funeral Service at 12:00 PM, June 1, 2011, at Green Acres Chapel of Lights, 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale, AZ. Internment will follow.
