Margaret “Marge” Ann Yahraus of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on July 4, 2022. She was born on June 24, 1933 in Mansfield, Ohio, the eldest daughter of William J. and Maria “Mary” Prinz Marzetti, and sister to William, Joseph, and Mary Lou Marzetti.
On Dec. 27, 1952 she married her beloved husband Arthur “Art” C. Yahraus and the couple had five children: Karen Yahraus; Kimberly (Yahraus) Kinkel, married to Joe; Christine (Yahraus) Hughes, married to Sam; Tammy (Yahraus) Mehl, married to Dieter; and Mark Yahraus, married to Emily.
Marge was deeply devoted to her family and left a legacy of dedicated hard work. When her children were still young, Marge began attending night classes and became a Licensed Practical Nurse in 1969. She continued to work nights while also managing the needs of her family. In 1976, the family moved to Phoenix, and two years later Marge returned to school for a license in Nursing Home Administration. She and Art owned and managed two nursing homes in the Phoenix area before retiring and caring for the elderly in their home.
In addition to her husband and children, Marge is survived by her ten grandchildren: Micah Hughes, married to Avrey; Annie (Kinkel) DeVries, married to Stephen; Jessica (Kinkel) Burnham, married to Joel; Mark Hughes, married to Erin; James Drake, married to Jules; Brittany Yahraus; Matthew Kinkel; Benjamin Yahraus; Kaleb Drake; Bethany (Yahraus) Blasi, married to Dan; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Marge will be laid to rest at Green Acres Mortuary and Cemetery on Friday, July 15, 2022, viewing begins at 10 a.m. with funeral service to follow at 11 a.m.
