Born of Virgil and Edith (Crawford) Little in Mt. Zion, West Virginia on June 9th, 1936 Louis Edward (Ed) Little quietly passed at Desert Banner Hospital in Mesa, Arizona from complications of Leukemia on December 18th, 2020.
Graduating from Calhoun County High School in 1953, Ed served the United States Marine Corp from 1954 to 1962 and received Distinguished awards for Rifle and Handgun Marksmanship. In June 1956 Ed married his wife to be of 64 years, Gladys Joan Reill of Harvey, Illinois, and they had their first child, Rene Michael Little in Hazelcrest, Illinois in July of 1957.
Moving the family to Phoenix, Arizona in 1960, Ed worked in the Manufacturing Industry for many years as a Tool & Die Maker for such places as General Electic, Allied Signal, and Garret Industries. Ed and Joan had their second child, Diana Marie Little, in late October 1967, and in 1973 they bought just under an acre and a half and built a new custom home in White Fence Farms #2 in Gilbert, Arizona. Ed received an Associate Degree from Mesa Community College in 1990 and was a member of Phi Theta Kappa. Ed ultimately retired, but never stopped working, as a Manufacturing Engineer for Honeywell in 2000.

"an Amazing Person, he was always fun and smiling ... a Great Friend and Neighbor" are just some of the things mentioned about Ed.
A proud member of The American Legion since 2017, Ed is survived by his wife of 64 years, Gladys Joan (Reill) Little, his son from San Diego, California, Chaplain Rene Michael Little, and his daughter of Gilbert, Arizona, Diana Marie Little, Ed is also survived by his sister, Elma Jean Bowman of Ft. Payne, Alabama, and Alma Jo Pennington of Akron, Ohio.
