Lorraine Helene Heinz

Though she lived in Phoenix, Arizona most of her adult life, Chicago, IL was her hometown, where she was born and raised, and married her love of 61 years, Ronald R. Heinz.

He preceded her in death on February 1, 2013.

Lorraine was a devoted Christian. She was also an advocate of those who served the community.

Her five children encompassed that passion by working in the Medical fields, Fire Service and Armed Forces. She was a very proud mother and the success of her children spoke to the compassion and love Lorraine had for life and family.

She was a huge sports fan and loved her Diamondbacks.

She also thoroughly enjoyed cheering on her husband, Ron when he frequently sang Karaoke; which was his passion and extraordinary talent.

Sadly, Lorraine was preceded in death by her sons Ronald J. Heinz, John Heinz and Jeffrey Heinz.

She is survived by her two daughters Jeanne Heinz and Jenniann West; daughter in law Lori Heinz and son in law Randy West. Lorraine is also survived by her sister Marlene Hawkins.

Lorraine had an abundance of Grandchildren which were the light of her life; Justin Flores, Jessica Nordyke, Jalene Mackin, Janae Austin, Mandi Heinz, Tessa West, Hannah West, Candice Heinz, Andrew Matty, Jacob Heinz, and Gabriella Heinz. Great Grandchildren Alexia, Dominick, Exzavier, Arianna, Abigail, Aubree, Justin Jr, Daniella, Kaitlyn, Amaiah, Vincent, Roenick Kermani-Heinz, Lynnette Iams and Loralee Mays, and two great great grandchildren.

The family is deeply grateful for Lorraine's caregiver, Maddie McGrath, and the loving tenderness she showed her. Maddie will forever stay in our hearts. Losing the Matriarch of our family will have a powerful impact, but the memories of her beautiful smile, love and guidance will support and lift us, so we can continue to live out her legacy.

A visitation for Lorraine will be held Monday, March 11, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetery, 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85257, followed by a Celebration of Life service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
