Jeanne Sue Thomas

Jeanne Sue Thomas passed away on September 15, 2023 at home with her family. She is survived by her daughter Jerri Jean Carriveau, son-in-law Michael William Carriveau, granddaughter Carissa Mae Carriveau, grandson Cannon William Carriveau, sister Loretta Ellen Kinney, nephew Eric William Kinney, niece Breanne Jean Kinney, and great nephew BrianAndrew Kinney-Schmidt. Preceding her in death is her father Gerald Lewis Brown, mother Gladys Lewis Brown, brother William Lewis Brown, and many more. Jeanne retired as a collector from the City of Phoenix Municipal Court with 18 years of service. She enjoyed many activities throughout her life like riding her horses, playing softball, bowling, shuffleboard, pool, and card games. She volunteered at food events and yard sales with The American Legion, Laveen Goat Club and Hugar Mercy Care. She had a special place in her heart for her Boston Terriers and spoiled them rotten. She loved being around people and helping organizations in need. She loved and was very proud of her family, community that she lived in, and all of her extended family that continued to grow. She was always ready for the next adventure with the ones that she cared for. She is loved by us all and she will be deeply missed.

A visitation for Jeanne will be held Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetery, 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85257, followed by a celebration of life at 11:00 AM.
