Jeanne Jacqueline Jamneau Davis went home to her Lord on August 7, 2012. She was born in Pruniers, France on August 20, 1926. She lived through World War II in France and met and married the late Gerald E. Davis, who was stationed in Paris with the U.S. Army in 1946. She went to live in the United States to raise a family. She retired from Motorola.
Jeanne loved to travel, shop, knit, crochet, sew, bake for family and friends, ride her bicycle, do crosswords, garden, read and watch mysteries on TV, and was always interested to learn something new.
Jeanne is survived by her daughter Michèle (James) Metcalf, son Lewis Davis, grandchildren David Metcalf, Michael (Kathy) Wills, Jeanne (David) Boiarsky, great-grandchildren Jacob Metcalf, Holly Wills and Hailey Boiarsky. Jeanne has many siblings, nieces and nephews in France.
Jeanne loved her family and friends and rejoiced in their activities. She will be forever missed. A private family gathering will be held.
