He was Born in Poland on 07-10-1962. At a young age he moved with his mom Sophie to the USA and soon made Scottsdale his forever home. Jason obtained a B.A in Political Science/ History at ASU and an A.A in Hospitality /Operation Management.
He married the love of his life Rita Burneo on 08-29-2009 in Claremont, New Hampshire, with Florencia Burneo & John Nostrand as witnesses as well as with family and friends.
Jason had a strong passion for his career. He worked at Scottsdale Hilton Resort and Spa for 2 years, then moved to J.W. Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort, where he dedicated over 20 years of his life. He found a community of friends who soon became his family and the avenue that led him to meet Rita, who also worked at Marriott Camelback Inn. They became inseparable.
He worked at Quicken Loans and most recently as a Banquet Manager at Great Wolf Lodge, Scottsdale for 2 years.
No doubt that he loved what he did, he was well respected for the quality of work and high hospitality standards that he always demonstrated.
Jason loved the mountains and ocean. He visited Steve and Karen at Pinetop where he loved to spend time studying mushrooms and playing with his dogs. He knew about Sports and followed them with a fierce passion.
He was Catholic and attended St. Daniel, The Prophet, as a parishioner in which he and Rita dedicated a lot of their time serving the church and others.
Jason’s loves also included his pups. He believed in adoption and rescue. He First adopted “April”, and then with Rita, they added “Cinnamon”. After April’s passing “Mace” came to complete the family. The pups were their children and were so loved and cared for. We have since found a loving home for them with Richard Ysaguirre and his son’s Adam and Ethan who have graciously opened their hearts and home to Welcome Cinnamon and Mace to their family.
