James L. Sands

James L. Sands, age 95, of Scottsdale, Arizona passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2020. James was born March 1, 1925. He had a career as a steel worker and served in the US Army during WWII. On July 19, 1948, he married the love of his life Bonnie D. Sands in Nashville, Tennessee.

James is survived by daughter Sheila Wright and her husband Tim; Granddaughters Bethany Shea Reyer and Jamie Kathleen Jones, grandson Brian Harvey Isbell, great granddaughters Kaitlyn Mitchell, Kelsey and Lily Reyer, great grandson Nick Reyer, Matthew Koch and Mitchell Koch, great-great grandchildren Jamison Mitchell, Scarlett and Ava Brewer.

Graveside services will be held at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona on Monday, December 14, 2020 at 1:30 PM. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.greenacresmortuary.net for the Sands family.
