Helen Jane Edwards

Helen Jane Edwards, 82, passed away on April 22, 2021 in Tempe, AZ, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Waurika, OK to Eldon and Esther (Nowell) Garrison who preceded her in death. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was an elementary education instructional assistant from 1975-2001 at Laird School in Tempe, AZ. Upon her retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren and great children as well as being active in New Life Community Church. She also enjoyed learning more about her Choctaw heritage. She is survived by her husband of fifty six years, Don, daughters Cathy Eley (Mark) of Scottsdale, AZ, Cindy Tekobbe (Chris) of Northport, AL , and 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A Graveside Service in Helen's honor will be held Monday, May 10, 2021 9:00 am at Green Acres Cemetery (401 N Hayden Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85257).
