Gloria Louise Myers

She was born in Laurium, Michigan on November 24, 1943, Thanksgiving Day, to parents Brockway and Ina (Wallenius) Myers.

After graduating from Lake Linden High School, Gloria moved to Illinois where her sister Carol had been living. This is where she met her true love, Reginald “Cap” Osgoodby. She worked for McCulloch Properties, Inc., initially in Chicago and then transferred to Los Angeles. In 1977 Gloria and Cap relocated to Scottsdale. She worked for the City of Scottsdale Police Department for seven years before retiring in 2005.

Gloria enjoyed spending time with her family whenever possible, knitting, crafting and antiquing. She loved animals, especially her cats Mr. Muffett, Felix and Oscar, as well as her childhood horse, Poco.

Gloria leaves behind her sister, Rose and many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. She is preceded in death by her husband, Reginald; brother Ernest; and sister Carol.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025 at 10:00AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, 7655 E Main St, Scottsdale, AZ 85251, followed by a committal service at 11:30AM at Green Acres Cemetery, 401 N Hayden Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85257.
