Glenna Roberta Smith

Glenna R. Smith, 98, passed peacefully on November 10, 2012. She was born in Pargkersburg, West Virginia. She moved to Arizona from Alliance, Ohio in 1948. She was a resident of Scottsdale for 23 years, Phoenix for 29 years, and Prescott for 12 years. She was an employee at Motorola for 30 years before retiring in 1984. She is preceded by her husband Paul W. Smith Sr. (March 3, 1974) and daughter Marjorie Hull(December 25, 2010). She is survived by daughters Beatrice Dean of Prescott, Arizona; Charlotte (Raymon) McCullough of Moncks Corner, South Carolina; Georgia Tenberg of Mesa, Arizona; Paula Smith of Phoenix, Arizona; Roxanne Chapman of Yucaipa, California; son Paul W. Smith Jr., Orchard Park, New York; 29 grandchildren, 69 great grandchildren; and 49 great-great grandchildren. She was a member of the Scottsdale Church of the Nazarene. Funeral services are scheduled for Noon, Monday, November 19, 2012, at Green Acres Chapel of Light, 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale, Arizona, 85257. www.greenacresmortuary.net
