It is with great sadness that Ferdy S Mendoza, age 83, died on Friday, September 20th, 2024, at his home in Phoenix. Ferdy was born on November 28th,1940 in Arizona where he lived his entire life, to Maria Santibanez and Jesus Mendoza, the youngest of four children. Ferdy went on to have 3 children of his own, Ferdy John II (deceased), Wayne, and Brenda. He shared over 25 years of marriage to Dolores (deceased) including 7 stepchildren, Judy, Ghislaine, John, Susan, Barbara (deceased), Steve (deceased), and Phil (deceased). He leaves behind 7 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and 22 nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held at Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetery, located at 401 N Hayden Rd. Scottsdale, AZ 8525 on Thursday, October 3rd from 4:00-6:30pm, with a rosary at 5:30pm. Funeral service in memory of Ferdy will be held at Blessed Sacrament, located on 11300 N 64th St, Scottsdale, AZ 85254 on Friday, October 4th at 10:30am, officiated by Father Samuel Aliba. Committal to follow at 12:00PM at Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetery.
