Debbie Ann Miller Cotton, age 46, passed away unexpectedly on April 22, 2022. She was born January 29, 1976 in Omaha, Nebraska. Debbie was a 1994 graduate of Lewis Central High School in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She graduated from both Xenon International School of Hair Design (Class of 1995) and EQ School of Hair Design (Class of 2000). Debbie was certified as a beautician and an esthetician. These skills, along with her bubbly personality and infectious laugh, gave her the opportunity to meet and touch many lives. She enjoyed styling, cutting and coloring other peoples hair almost as much as doing her own.
Debbie loved being a stay at home mom so she could dote over her children and grandbabies. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends at barbeques, birthday parties and other social gatherings. Her most favorite times were spent at the ocean, pool side, quiet time outdoors, getting fountain drinks at Circle K, purchasing scratch off tickets and trips to the casino.
She married her friend and love, Antwaine Cotton on May 15, 2010. They built their life together in Arizona. Debbie is survived by her husband Antwaine, her two sons Michael Miller and Tristan Cotton and step daughter Alexis Scribner-Cotton, all of Arizona; her grandbabies, Xavier and Xander Goodluck Miller of Crownpoint, New Mexico; her mother Nancy Sterbens (Michael O'Neill) of Council Bluffs, Iowa and father Duane Miller (Diane Miller) of Divide, Colorado and mother-in-law Brenda Cotton of Tempe, Arizona; her sister and brother-in-law Denise and Douglas Kjeldgaard, brother Drew Elderbaum of Council Bluffs, sister and brother-in-law Danita and Chris Maier of Omaha, Nebraska; and her many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
