David and I would also like to give thanks to his dear friends, Tammy, & Rick& Kim Deegan who always checked in on him . We would like to thank his oncologist, Robin Obenchain & staff for the 7 years of dedicated, compassionate care of David & for never giving up on him.
David was born on October 21, 1958 in Colorado Springs, CO.
David was a wonderful, loving person---a little rough on the outside, but oh so sweet on the inside. He made everyone laugh. He could hold a conversation with anyone. He was honest in his feelings and could relate to anyone at any age. He was a big kid!! He was a fantastic guitar player. He fought a lot of battles through his life, but he NEVER gave up. He fought cancer head-on & treated it like a bully----never letting it get him down!. The last year was the hardest battle, but even to the day before his journey home started he said----"I'm not ready yet! He was my valiant, courageous warrior--my baby, my bondedaddy, my guitar man! He made me laugh and lifted me up when I was down. He will truly be missed.....Still Loving You, eternally.
As John Lennon said about life and death.....""it's just like going from one vehicle to the next...." Enjoy the ride my David James
We all love you and will always have a special place in our hearts--forever
