Cindy was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 22, 1969 to Alice Manuelito and Aloysious Matthews. She graduated high school from Central High and later obtained her Bachelor of Science from Northern Arizona University. She used her studies in science to become a Registered Nurse, and worked selflessly in Urgent Care for eight years.
Cindy married her soulmate, Teddy Yazzie on June 20, 1987 in Tuba City. Their love for travel and good food was their secret to a beautiful 33 yearlong marriage.
Cindy was a wine and cheese enthusiast and loved traveling to find the best places to eat. She loved Elvis and even recently, renewed her vows with Teddy by none other than Elvis himself. Not only was she selfless, caring for others as a nurse, but she was passionate about life and she will truly be missed by countless friends and family.
Cindy is survived by her husband Teddy Yazzie, daughter Jeanine Yazzie, siblings Felicia Carrasco, Michelle Brabon, Melissa Manuelito, Shanadine Manuelito, Danielle Manuelito, Pearl Gonnie, Raymond Matthews and Aloysious Matthews Jr., mother Alice Manuelito and father Monty Manuelito.
Funeral services for Cindy will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetery, 401 N. Hayden Rd. Scottsdale, AZ 85257. Visitation will be from 9:00 am-10:00 am with a Funeral Service at 10:00 am and burial following services at 11:00am in the Heritage Garden.
After services the family invites guests back to their Tolleson home for a Celebration of life, gathering and Reception in Cindy’s honor.
