Carl Edward Snyder (87), passed away Thursday April 5, in Scottsdale, surrounded by his adoring family. Carl was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 28, 1924 to Charles and Alice Snyder. He is preceded in death by his wife, Esther, with whom he shared nearly 60 wonderful, loving years. They resided in Scottsdale, for 47 years. He will be deeply missed by his sister, Jeannette Grassmann of Cincinnati; his son, Carl (Jean) of McKinney, TX; daughters, Beverly Mauel (Rowland) and Barbara Snyder of Scottsdale; grandchildren Kevin, Jennifer, Scott, Kristen (Luke); great grandchildren Dylan, Kendall and Kaylee. Carl was a WWII Army Veteran. He graduated from The University of Cincinnati with a degree in Civil Engineering. Carl was a Christian man with unwavering moral character, lovingly devoted to his family and friends, always making those around him laugh with his quirky sense of humor. Visitation will be Monday, April 9th 6:00-8:00pm at Green Acres Mortuary, and the funeral service will be Tuesday, April 10th 12:00pm at Green Acres Mortuary, 401 N. Hayden Rd., Scottsdale, AZ.
