He was born in Phoenix, Arizona on February 23, 1958 to Waymond Lee and Shirley Anne Pace (Willbanks) of Phoenix, Arizona. Bryan graduated from Arcadia High School and Cosmetology school and later married Penny Lee Pace (Hammer) on February 10, 1983 in Oklahoma City, OK. Bryan has served as Senior Pastor of River of Life Tabernacle since 2003 prior to creating and growing a large worship and performing arts ministry with his wife Penny at The River.
Bryan was a humanitarian at heart and responsible for raising financial support for families and children around the world including Haiti, Thailand, Romania, Africa and Mexico. Bryan lived by the principle “love God, love people” and demonstrated that in the way he lived his life. He considered his greatest accomplishment being a husband, father and grandfather. Bryan’s passions include writing and arranging music, raising horses, hiking, traveling the world, and creating meaningful memories with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Penny, daughters Lauren Pace (Isaac) of Coronado, CA, Elizabeth Perez (Rafael) of Miami, FL and son Ron Tolson of Mesa, AZ. Grandsons Colby Combs and Cristiano Perez, mother Shirley Anne Pace, brother Darren Pace (Tiffany), sister Dana Shaw (John) aunts Rita Johnston, Delores Lannanen and Janice Lambert, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father Waymond Lee Pace, grandparents Velma & Othelee Willbanks and Bernice and Leonard Pace, uncles Eugene Pace and Wayne Willbanks, and aunt Linda Austin.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 11 a.m. at River of Life located at 4302 E. Broadway Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85040. Flowers may be received Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monetary gifts can be mailed to River of Life in memory of Pastor Bryan Pace.
