Bernice E. Jones

Bernice Esther Jones, born September 29, 1923 in Pleasant Hill, Ohio, passed on Monday, April 20th, 2015 to be with her Heavenly Father and reunite with her husband, Bobby Jones, and daughter, Linda. Bernice was by trade a registered nurse and carried that desire to help others after retirement by being there when needed and sharing her knowledge and advice. She led a life of honesty and integrity. With Jesus beside her, Bernice's strong character allowed her to face the storms of life in a way that garnished great respect. She loved the Lord and made many good friends in the churches she was a part of. The family will be celebrating her beautiful life privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pappas Kids Schoolhouse Foundation. Bernice is survived by her son-Mike, daughter-Sue (Dennis), four grandchildren-Chris (Heather), Kim (Sam), Erin (Jonathan), and Landon (Katie). Bernice was also privileged to have four great-grandchildren-Jonan and Ember, Adrian and William. Her three sisters and one brother-in-law survive her as well. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
