So sorry for the loss of Bea, Floyd and Family. What a wonderful legacy she leaves but funny how 88 is still too soon for those left behind. Love and prayers.

Mrs. DeWitt was a big part of our families over two generations.  She was my teacher and mom away from home.  She was Taylor and Bailey's teacher as well.  I can only imagine the organ she is playing at the feet of Jesus!  What a life of blessing others through Christian Education, service and Love!  Thank you Family DeWitt for sharing her with us! My thoughts are with the family during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there is a hope for our love ones lost in death can be reassuring. 

I am so sorry to hear of Bea's passing.  Everyone loved Bea and she loved everyone.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.  Hold dear to all the wonderful memories, till we all meet again in heaven.  I know Bea and her Dad are giving heaven a concert of organ a piano music. God Bless and hold you in His arms, Floyd, Barb, Steve, and the whole family.

Wonderful memories of Mrs. De Wit. From Kindergarten on, you were my favorite. She was always supportive, always encouraging, and made everything about music. She taught me to use music as a tool to worship God, and she remained a friend throughout my life. I will always honor and treasure her and all the things she taught me. Praying for the De Wit family, as you mourn.

Bea DeWitt was a picture of a Proverbs 31 woman.  She was genuinely the most gracious, loving woman who lived life for family and her faith. I'm thankful for the times I had with her when I went to PCGS & later as an adult.  May God give peace to her family & be close to each of you.❤

May God himself sustain you all in your sorrow and grief. Bea was an extraordinary woman who will be missed by ever so many people whose lives she touched in so many different ways. We thank God for her life among us. Right now I am so thankful that almost a year ago she was able and willing to play the organ for my Mom's memorial service. It meant so much to us. May God comfort you and give you his peace.

Dear Floyd, Barb, & Stan,
  We just returned from Minnesota to celebrate my oldest brother's 70th Wedding Anniversary with an Open House in Renville, MN. We received a text yesterday from David/Janet Van Hofwegen and Jerry/Carol Dykman that Bea's funeral is today. Obviously, we will be unable to attend but will be praying for God's SHALOM to accompany you through His Spirit. Jerry said that he would update us on the details of the Memorial Service. Of course, we remember Floyd and Bea so well from associations through Phoenix Christian School, where they were such active participants and supporters. Remember days of playing softball with Floyd and they were members of our Arizona Amateur Investment group. Always remember them being so joyful, as they lived out their confessed faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. NOW, Bea is celebrating that joy forever in heaven. As Joanne said, Bea was one of the most positive people we've ever met and she will be missed on earth, but has been welcomed in heaven. From our very early days in Phoenix until we left, Bea was always loving and kind, and oh, so hospitable!  And always, "how are you kids?"  We were truly blessed by her!  She reflected her Lord well!  She will be missed.  Thanking God for having the opportunity to know and love her.

Aunt Bea leaves behind a legacy of love.  I am one of the many who have been blessed to be included in her circle of life.

I have vivid memories of my grade school years and Mrs. De Wit was the start of my school life as my first teacher in Kindergarten.   She loved teaching and her students.  She was supportive of her fellow teachers and was a dear friend and colleague to my mom Chris.   I know how much she will be missed by her family and friends.

Bea a beautiful person. Cheerful and always had her beautiful smile. I got to meet her at church with my daughter Lauren. Very blessed to play the organ. Rest in peace. An angel in heaven. Condolences to Floyd and rest of the family

Aunt Bea was always a shining ray of light and love.  I always looked forward to getting with Aunt Bea and Uncle Floyd when i could during my short travels back to Phoenix. I will miss getting to talk about anything and everything and getting Aunt Bea to laugh during our talks. I will miss her so much.

I was blessed to marry into the Bosch family in 1991 when I married Rick, Pat and Dries's son.  From the moment I met Aunt Bea, I felt a sincere sense of warmth and love.  It didn't take long until I felt like I was her niece by birth vs. by marrying into this wonderful family.  I will truly miss her and my sincere prayers and love to Uncle Floyd, Barb, Stan, Dries and all the family.  We certainly have a special angel watching over us.

Such precious memories of your mom. 
my favorite was being introduced to music: music memory, hymns, fun songs, instruments, musical games, musical productions. It's a gift that lingers on. 
I remember sitting during a rehearsal or VBS and the whoever was directing kept changing the key the song was in and you would hear her give an introduction in a different key. It was automatic for her. I had such admiration for her unique gifting.
And how many people have an 80something year old Facebook friend? I valued the connection.

I will never forget Mrs. De Wit - first she was my kindergarten teacher, then she was a good friend. She was the most positive, encouraging, enthusiastic person I've ever met. I feel very fortunate to have known her my whole life. She will leave a huge hole in the lives of her family and friends. A life well-lived!
