Artemisa “Mary” Lee of Tempe, Arizona, passed away at the age of 79 years old on September 1, 2023. She was born in Phoenix, Arizona on September 15, 1944. She was raised in Tempe and graduated from Tempe High School. She was married to Charles S. Lee in Phoenix Arizona on January 21, 1964. Her marriage with Charles was filled with love, passion, and laughter. She was able to travel to many places with her husband and family, which made for many special memories. Mary worked as a hairdresser for several years, but her favorite job was being a homemaker and taking care of her family. Mary was a kind and loyal wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend. She had a passion for cooking, entertaining, painting, sewing, and quilting. She always used these passions to give to others; whether they were quilts for loved ones or homemade meals for those who needed it. She is survived by her three children, Lisa Lee, Charles Lee Jr., and Andrew Lee. She has six grandchildren, five girls and one boy; their names are Arriana, Bianca, Kade, Jadyn, Sophia, and Gabriella. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, joy, comfort, and hope.
A visitation for Artemisa will be held Tuesday, September 12, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetery, 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85257, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
