Amer Jeet Singh

Born in India, Singh came to the United States and established his fledgling business in NY before moving to AZ. He lived his life and maintained his business by being fair, firm and relentless. This writer himself witnessed Amer dealing with tough customers in a rough neighborhood. Ever forgiving, being content and thankful was second nature to him. Until the end, he remained passionate about his first love, homeopathy.

In his wife Sharan’s own words “I had the opportunity and rare privilege of being the wife and partner of a wonderful, loving, kind and God fearing man. Life could not have been better than that, because I was living every woman’s dreams. The best of everything was at my disposal, whether I asked for it or not. We had our problems like every family but making up and resolving our issues was magical.” I could not have said it any better myself. They were married for 46 years.

Singh was a doting father to Tanu and Suprit, and helped mold them into confident, considerate and compassionate human-beings. Spending time with his granddaughters, Jia and Diya, was his favorite pastime. His fondness for all things created by god and happy go lucky attitude was inspirational.

Even though his laid back attitude resulted in missed flights and late arrival to the gatherings, he will be remembered for devotion to family and unique quirks.

Amer will be greatly missed for his unique sense of humor and showering of love to his family. I bet he is being missed by all the birds he fed over the years.

True to his name, he will remain alive forever in our hearts.

Singh is survived by his wife, Sharan; two daughters, Tanu and Suprit; and two grandchildren, Jia and Diya.

A visitation for Amer will be held Sunday, August 21, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Green Acres Mortuary and Cemetery, 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale, Arizona 85257, followed by his funeral service and cremation ceremony at 12:00 PM.
