Adrian is survived by his wife of 49 years, Barbara, son, Daniel and wife Maleka, daughter Beth and her husband, Christopher Nephew, and grandchildren, Palmer, Michael, Samuel, and Norah. He leaves a sister, Adele Lee, sister-in-law, Marge Lupien, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, James Lupien, and parents, Dorothy and Adrian Lupien Sr.
Adrian was born in Malden, MA. He graduated from Wakefield High School in 1958 and Northeastern University in 1963. Adrian’s career in the eye care and healthcare industries spanned 38 years. He was one of the pioneers who launched and marketed the soft contact lens at Bausch & Lomb in 1971. He began his career as a sales representative in 1970 and grew with the industry . He held positions as vice -president of sales and marketing at B & L, Paragon Vision, Barnes-Hind and retired from Unilens, FL in 2008.
Adrian moved his family to Scottsdale, AZ in 1993 when he joined Barnes -Hind. Here he developed a passion for mountain biking on the beautiful desert trails. He was an avid skier and recently enjoyed skiing in March.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Barbara, his family, and friends. He will be remembered for his wit, sense of humor, avid sports interests, devotion to family, and as a true friend.
There will be a private family service and internment at Green Acres Cemetery, Scottsdale, AZ.
