Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, Friday, November 22, 2024, at the Mitchell Berean Church officiated by Pastor Giles. Graveside service to follow at Mitchell City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for the family.
Tim was born October 31, 1960, in Longmont, Colorado, to Don and Joan Dean.
Survivors include his wife Jaci Dean of Scottsbluff, brother Gary Dean of Longmont, Colorado; sisters Vicki Carlson of Parma, Michigan and Lynnette McLeod of Scottsbluff; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Also survived by his beloved pets Finn and Willow.
Preceded by his parents, Don and Joan Dean; brother Dennis Dean; sister Nancy Dean.
Tim's early education took place in Colorado. He moved to Mitchell, Nebraska, with his family at age 17. He graduated from Mitchell High School in 1979.
After graduation, Tim became a Master Welder for Burlington Northern Railroad. He was forced to retire from the railroad in 1990 when Tim became disabled.
Tim married the love of his life, Jaci L Schanhols, on June 8, 1996. They made their home in Mitchell and later in Scottsbluff.
Tim had a lifelong love of hunting, fishing, and motorcycles. He was also an avid Denver Broncos and Nebraska Cornhuskers fan.
Tim was made CEO of the Carol A. Fuller Charitable Foundation upon her death in 2017. He was always happy and excited to make donations to various non-profit organizations.
