Linda Irene Vance

Per the family’s request, they would like to see guests wear their favorite Husker attire, Go Big Red, to the Celebration of Life, 11:00 am, Monday, November 18, 2024, at Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel, 3201 Ave B, Scottsbluff, NE, 6936. Burial will take place at a later date.

She was born February 3, 1949, in Stuttgart, Germany, to Phillip and Irene Zobel. She received her early education and graduated in Alliance, Nebraska. She then went on to nursing school.

She married Jim Vance on April 9, 1992, in Mansfield, Texas, and made their home in Gering, Nebraska.

In Gering, she was a proud LPN and a member of the former GWRRA and Wagon Wheel Campers. She also enjoyed camping, motorcycle rides, and Nebraska football. She was heavily into sewing and crafts until her health changed. She even made her own wedding dress.

She is survived by her husband; sister Helga (Craig) Nicholson; brother Wayne (Pat) Zobel; sister Renee (Mark) Donner; brother Alan Zobel; brother Tim Zobel; many nieces and nephews and close friends.

She is preceded by her parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
