Ethel Lorraine Huerta

She was born on March 14, 1942, in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Rufus Clarence and Opal Lorraine (McKee) Gautney. Their family soon moved to Denver, Colorado, where Lorraine grew up and went to school. In the marriage to Robert Wynne, Sr., her children Bob Jr., Steve and Lori were born.

Lorraine found the love of her life Bob Huerta and had many wonderful years with him. Lorraine was a woman of her word and a hard worker. She worked for Sprint for many years and then NPPD both where she made many lifelong friends who you could often find her visiting with, having lunch or dinner with.

Lorraine was a dedicated member of Church of the Nazarene and bible studies in which were often held at her home.

She loved the Lord and her family. She will be dearly missed by all who know and loved her.

She is survived by her brother Warren (Pat) Gautney; sons Bob (Shelly) Wynne, Jr; Steve (Melanie) Wynne and daughter Lori Wynne; numerous extended family members; grandchildren Adam Wynne, Travis Parmer, Joshua Parmer, Nickolas Scheenen, Eric (Trisha) Parmer, Tara (Justin) Wynne, Michel Parmer, Kayla Rupp, and Ci’Era (Jeremy) Wynne; great grandchildren Braxton, K-Den, Rylea, Jedidiah, Jared, Keegan, Ayomi, Alanna, George, Parker, Landree, Madilynn, Azaileanna, Jax, Avah and Silas; and sister-in-law Jennie Gautney.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bob Huerta, parents Rufus and Opal, her sister Kathy, brother Donny, and great grandchildren Blake and Zendaya.

A Celebration of Life Services will be held June 21, 2025, at 1:00 pm at the Morrill Park in Morrill, Nebraska. At her request, cremation has taken place. Fond memories and condolences may be left at www.dugankramer.com. Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel is assisting the family with arrangement.
