

Catalina “Katy” Treviño, 75, of Scottsbluff, died Tuesday, September 23, 2008, at her home. Her funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 26, 2008, at First Assembly of God Church in Scottsbluff with Pastor Leroy Wyre officiating. Interment will be in the Caldwell Cemetery, rural Lyman. Friends may visit from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel in Scottsbluff. A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. A memorial has been established in care of the family. Catalina was born February 18, 1933, at Lyman, Nebraska to Antonio and Clauda “Clara” (Gonzalez) Crespin. Survivors include her husband Manuel Treviño Sr.; her children, Florentino (Janet) Sandoval of Scottsbluff, John (Sally) Sandoval of Scottsbluff, Lupe (Diane) Sandoval of Dallas, Texas, Abe Sandoval of Scottsbluff, Jerry Sandoval of Denver, Colorado, Guadelupe Treviño of Scottsbluff, Manuel Jr. (Annie) Treviño of Scottsbluff, George Treviño of Lincoln, Inez (Guerrero) Urquiza of Scottsbluff, Joe (Virginia) Treviño of Scottsbluff, Alex Treviño of Scottsbluff, Israel (Shannon) Treviño of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Gabriel (Melinda) Treviño of Carbondale, Colorado; 42 grandchildren; and 50 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, one brother, one grandson, two great-grandsons and a daughter-in-law.
