Bonnie Jane Brehm, 64, of Scottsbluff, died Friday, Jan. 11, 2013 at Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colo. Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013 at First Christian Church in Scottsbluff with Pastor Arlene Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery. A memorial has been established to the Western Nebraska Veteran's Home. Cremation has taken place. Bonnie was born April 11, 1948 in Scottsbluff to Don and Lottie (Case) Douglas. She grew up and attended school in Scottsbluff and graduated from Scottsbluff High School in 1966. She married John Brehm March 31, 1968 in Scottsbluff. She was employed by Regional West Medical Center as a nurses' assistant and unit secretary for over 30 years. Bonnie was a lifelong member of First Christian Church. She loved to watch and root for the Huskers and Broncos and spending time with her Boston Terriers, Penny, Izzy, and Lady. After her retirement her life revolved spending time with her granddaughters activities and their girls only shopping time. She is survived by her husband and the love of her life John, sons: John (Keli) Brehm III of Scottsbluff, William Troy (Jennie) Brehm, Minatare, and Scott Douglas (Keri) Brehm, Scottsbluff; daughter Melissa May Villarreal, Scottsbluff; grandchildren: Christina and Savannah Villarreal, Aubrie, Shelbie, Tailie, Averie and Kalie Brehm. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents.
