Thomas Michael Reilly

He is survived by his wife, Olive “Butchie” Reilly, his children, John Andrew Reilly, Thomas Michael Reilly, and Robin Ann Reilly, her spouse David William Palmer, their two children Ayden Reilly Palmer and Coco Isabelle Madison Palmer, his niece Lisa Moscoffian and her husband Matthew Moscoffian and their two children, Ella and Mathew Moscoffian.

Tom was predeceased by his brother, Robert Reilly and his sister, Peggy Scherer.

After graduating Milton High, Tom attended UMASS Amherst and went on to get his Masters Degree of Education from Boston State College. Tom taught in the Boston Public Schools until his retirement.

Tom loved the town of Scituate and all that it offers. Tom was an avid sailor, golfer and walker. He was a member of the senior golf league at Widow’s Walk, often could be seen walking his dinghy down the harbor, was one of the original cliff walkers and when he wasn’t golfing or sailing he could be found sitting with the ladies at the Peggotty Beach.

Tom will be waked at Richardson Gaffey Funeral Home, Scituate, MA on Thursday, June 8th from 4-8 PM. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10 AM at St. Mary of the Nativity Church, Scituate, MA.
