Teresa L Martina

MARTINA, Teresa L. (Carnevale) – Of Marshfield, formerly of Orlando, FL, passed away March 8th, 2016 in her 88th year. She was the beloved wife of Peter T. Martina, Jr. with whom she shared 60 years of marriage.

Devoted mother of Peter Martina and his wife Susan of Marshfield, Donna Bowers and her husband Richard of Plympton, Richard Martina and his wife Jennifer of Marshfield, Paul Martina of Marshfield and Philip Martina and his wife Kym of Orlando, FL. Loving sister of Phyllis Marciano of Amherst, NY and cherished “Nonni” of 12 grandchildren.

Teresa “Teri” began her career in Buffalo, NY as a secretary. When she and her husband Peter relocated their family to Marshfield in 1970, she became a dedicated homemaker and devoted mother to their five children. Teri was a Boy Scout den mother as well as a Girl Scout leader. Teri actively participated in the community including opening and operating the Marshfield Candy Shoppe a favorite spot for her children and their friends. Teri and Peter moved to Orlando, FL in 1983 where they enjoyed over 25 years before returning to be closer to the majority of their family.

Please join family and friends on Saturday, March 12th at the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Rd, Scituate at 1PM for visitation followed by a brief funeral service at 3PM. Burial will be private.
